Abstract: Key management and database encryption engine are two essential components of database encryption system. Key management manages the various keys used in the encryption system, including the user’〖KG-*4〗s personal key, data encryption key and so on. Encryption engine is responsible for encrypting and decrypting the important data through the table keys. They have some inconsistencies in description on encryption keys. This paper discusses and gives the relevant solutions.
